Week Three – T I R E D

You know that feeling where you know you should be doing something, but you just can’t bring yourself to do it? I’m there. No shame. I wish I could motivate myself intrinsically buuuuut I can’t. Even though I’m not on my phone as much at night, I’m still struggling to get myself to sit down before I collapse in bed.

One thing I will say is that I’ve been going through the process of readjusting back to college full time. I had been going part-time for the better part of the last two years, but shifting my priorities to full-time classes has taken up quite a bit of mental space in my mind. I’m exhausted almost all the time. I wouldn’t say I’m stressed; I’m legitimately enjoying my classes, professors, and the school, but combined with my outside work of teaching yoga every day, I’m mentally and physically tired. I’m so tired I meditate without even trying. I just sit down, close my eyes, and empty my mind, my eyes, my sensations, everything.

It doesn’t quite count though because I haven’t followed through my intention, so it’s another week without progress. Oh well!
